CNC Machining for Medical & Lab Equipment

Precision components for medical and laboratory equipment: instrument housings, fittings, manifolds, mounts and fixtures, machined to your drawing in metals and engineering plastics, inspected in-house, triple-certified (AS9100D / ISO 9001 / IATF 16949).

Quote in 48h Prototypes 10–15 business days Production 15–30 business days No minimum order

Diagnostic, analytical and laboratory equipment is full of machined parts: housings that align optics and electronics, fluidic manifolds, fittings, mounts and fixtures that have to be clean, corrosion resistant and dimensionally exact. Fenva machines those components to your drawing in stainless, aluminium, titanium and engineering plastics, with passivation and fine finishes for surfaces that wipe down clean. Send a drawing and you get a line-item quote in 48 hours, no minimum order quantity, prototype through to batch production.

To be clear about scope: we machine components for medical and lab equipment. We do not make finished medical devices, implants or surgical instruments, and we do not hold medical-device registration. If your component drawing defines the part, we make it to that drawing.

Parts & materials

Parts and the materials we reach for

Component Material we reach for Why
Instrument housings & enclosures6061 / 316LLight and economical, or corrosion resistant and easy to clean
Fluidic fittings & manifolds316L / PTFECorrosion resistant for fluids, or chemically inert and low-friction
Load-bearing & wear parts17-4PHHigh-strength, heat-treatable stainless that resists wear
Lightweight & corrosion-critical partsTitaniumStrong, light and highly corrosion resistant where it matters
Insulating & autoclavable partsPEEKStrong, autoclavable, electrically insulating high-performance plastic
Chemically inert seals & bushingsPTFEInert and low-friction for contact with reagents and fluids

These are the common material grades we run most often. We also machine other grades on request.

Capability

What we can hold

  • 3-, 4- and 5-axis milling plus CNC turning, so housings, manifolds and fittings finish in fewer setups.
  • General tolerance ISO 2768-m as standard; down to ±0.01 mm on the features that need it.
  • Surface finish to about Ra 1.6 off the machine, finer on request for clean, easy-to-wipe surfaces.
  • Metals and engineering plastics on the same floor, with material traceability and DFM feedback before machining begins.

Passivation & clean finishes

In-house-managed passivation for 316/316L and 17-4PH removes free iron and restores the corrosion-resistant surface. Bead blast and fine finishes give clean, uniform, easy-to-wipe surfaces for equipment that gets cleaned often.

Where it goes

Diagnostic and analytical instruments, laboratory and test equipment, fluid-handling and dosing systems, and optical and imaging assemblies, all as machined components rather than finished devices.

Mini-FAQ

Components for medical & lab equipment, answered

Do you make medical devices?

No. We machine components for medical and laboratory equipment, such as instrument housings, fittings, manifolds, mounts and fixtures, to your drawing.

Can you passivate stainless?

Yes, in-house-managed passivation for 316/316L and 17-4PH, plus bead blast and fine finishes for clean, easy-to-wipe surfaces.

Do you machine PEEK and PTFE?

Yes, both, along with the common metals. PEEK for strong, autoclavable insulating parts and PTFE for chemically inert, low-friction components.

Minimum order?

No minimum order quantity. We take you from prototype through to batch production.
