Step by step
From files to delivery, in eight steps
Typical lead times are shown so you can plan. Your project manager keeps you updated at each stage.
Submit your files
Send 3D and 2D files with material, finish and quantity. For the most accurate quote, send both a 3D STEP and a 2D PDF with tolerances: 3D only is machined to ISO 2768-m general tolerance, 2D only is priced as an estimate until we receive the model. Files are kept confidential; NDA on request.

Confirm quantity, material, tolerances and finishes. We can quote multiple options on request.
Review quotation
within 48 hYou receive a detailed, line-item quote with lead time, typically within 48 hours. Have a target price? Include it — quotes converge faster, and if it’s within reach we’ll often just meet it.
Engineering support & DFM
1–3 daysDFM feedback on geometry, tolerances and material to cut cost and risk before machining begins.
Confirm & lock in lead time
Quotes are valid for 30 days; lead time starts on deposit. We confirm the schedule with you.
Sampling & approval
~10 business daysOn request, we produce samples for your approval. Samples are charged separately, typically about ten business days.
Manufacturing
Material traceability, precision machining, in-process QC, finishing and packaging, with progress updates throughout.
Shipping & logistics
Protective packaging and worldwide shipment by air, rail or sea, DDP available for selected destinations.

What steps 7 and 8 look like on the floor
Machining, under coolant and control
During manufacturing, the spindle head and way covers run a coolant-flooded pass, holding tolerance while in-process QC checks dimensions against the drawing.
Finished, bagged and staged for shipping
Before step 8, finished anodised components are individually bagged and staged on the rack for final inspection and protective packaging, ready for worldwide shipment.
