Automotive & EV CNC Machining

IATF 16949-certified CNC machining for automotive and EV components. Brackets, housings, motor and actuator parts and structural components, milled and turned to your drawing on 3-, 4- and 5-axis equipment, inspected in-house.

IATF 16949 certified Quote in 48h Prototypes 10–15 business days No minimum order

Automotive work is about repeatability: the thousandth part has to match the first, with the process discipline and traceability to prove it. Fenva runs an IATF 16949 automotive quality system alongside ISO 9001 and AS9100D, so APQP planning, PPAP submission and statistical process control are available when your program needs them. We are a precision CNC shop, strongest on prototypes through low-to-mid volume production, not a high-volume stamping or casting house. Send a drawing and you get a line-item quote in 48 hours, one prototype or a production batch, with no minimum order.

Parts & materials

Automotive parts we machine

Part family Material we reach for Why
Brackets, mounts & housings6061 / 7075 aluminiumLight, stiff, anodizes for corrosion and looks
EV battery & powertrain housings6061 aluminiumLightweight structure, good thermal behaviour, cleanly anodized
Motor, actuator & sensor partsAluminium / stainless / steelTight fits and concentricity for moving and mounted parts
Structural & chassis components7075 aluminium / steelStrength where loads are high
Fixtures, gauges & test partsAluminium / steelFunctional tooling, quick turnaround

These are the common material grades we run most often. We also machine other grades on request.

Capability

What we can hold

  • 3-, 4- and 5-axis milling plus CNC turning, so multi-face and contoured parts finish in fewer setups.
  • General tolerance ISO 2768-m as standard; down to ±0.01 mm on the features that need it.
  • Surface finish to about Ra 1.6 off the machine, finer on request.
  • APQP, PPAP and statistical process control available under our IATF 16949 system, with DFM feedback before machining begins.

Finishes for automotive parts

As-machined, bead blast, brushed, clear and colour anodizing (Type II) and hard anodizing (Type III) for aluminium, black oxide and passivation for steel and stainless. See the Finish Library for how each one looks.
